Bhushi Dam lonavala is open 24/7 but it is said that 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM is the best time to visit. It is always recommended to go during daylight hours as the night hours are usually not as safe. The area has become commercialized over the years, with vendors selling local snacks like vada pav and poha during peak hours.

Tiger Point Lonavala, also known as Tiger’s Leap, is a scenic view in Lonavala known for its panoramic views of lush green valley, misty hills and waterfalls. Located on Amby Valley road 8 meters away from Lonavala City, it is a popular spot for tourists to enjoy sunrise, sunset and activities like trekking and no there are now tigers at Tiger Point Lonavala; it is just a misunderstanding because of the name given to the cliff.
The viewpoint has been given the name Tiger’s Leap because of the characterization of the cliff which is 650 metres high giving an impression of a Tiger leaping. While monsoon is the best time to visit this place because of the lush and greenery, one must also visit it during winters because of the amazing sunrise and sunset view that is provided during this time.
Lion’s point is also another viewpoint which is located nearby Tiger’s point. You can drive nearby Bhushi Dam which is near Tiger point. Buses are available but they will not go all the way and you will have to walk 1.6 kilometres after getting off at INS Shivaji.

Located near Pawna Dam, Dinosaur Park was inspired by a masterpiece of a movie called Jurassic Park.
It is typically open between 10:00 AM – 06:00 – PM, during which you can see massive animatronics moving or making sounds that will give you the fun Jurassic Park vibe that one who visits the place will be looking for. Depending on the day, season or the age of the person entering, the prices for entry ticket can vary between ₹250-400.
It only takes 21 minutes to reach Dinosaur Park from Lonavala Station and from Pune it takes about 2 hours to reach. It is located near the Mumbai-Pune Highway.
The whole park is filled with large scale dinosaur models that are towering just like in the movie. The park also provides you a selfie zone so that you can click pictures of yourself. The park also provides kid friendly activities such as Fossil digging, excavation pits and interactive exhibits.
Not to mention, Dinosaur Park also has a restaurant that provides snacks. Though some visitors have complained about the limitation of the snacks being only to sandwiches and maggi noodles.
